Micro-Peels Q & A
What is a Micro-peel?
A micro peel is a type of facial that utilizes specialized chemicals to remove outer layers of dead skin and reveal healthier skin underneath. Micro peels are customized for your skin issues and can reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, acne, and uneven texture.
Micro peels are safe for all skin types, even the most sensitive skin, since they’re customizable. They reverse signs of aging so you have fresher, dewier skin that looks and feels more youthful.
How does a Micro-peel work?
Dr. Ather prepares your skin with pre peel solutions and uses a microderm combined with a peel over your face, avoiding your eyes and mouth, like applying a liquid-based face mask. She allows the peel to work for 5-7 mins before removing it with a neutralizer.
While the Micro-peel is on your skin, you may feel a tingling or stinging sensation. The chemical peel works by dehydrating the outermost layers of dead skin so they dry out and peel off. Most chemical peels take 3-5 days to see full results.

What are the benefits ?
You can see a noticeable reduction or elimination of fine lines, wrinkles, sun spots, acne, and dry or oily skin after your peel.* By removing the outer layers of dead skin to reveal healthy, new skin, chemical peels exfoliate the skin and improve the tone, texture, and color of your skin.
Micro peels also stimulate cellular turnover, which improves the overall health and appearance of your skin. Cellular turnover increases blood flow, creating a more youthful glow and fullness in your skin.
